DIPROPHYLLINE: 50 mg
TERPINE: 1.5 mg
Sodium hydroxymethanesulphinate: 2 mg
Excipients (including redistilled turpentine oxidation products

Properties
Diprophylline, derived from theophylline, with its bronchodilatory spasmolytic properties, is a CNS stimulant, a central respiratory analeptic and a coronary vasodilator.
Terpine associated with the oxidation products of turpentine (excipient), has a decongestant and antiseptic action, drying of bronchorrhea, fluidifying.
Diprophylline is completely eliminated by urine in its parental form. Its elimination half-life is very short (2 to 8 hours depending on the species).
BIO-PULMONE Indications
In cattle, dogs and cats: adjuvant treatment of bronchopulmonary disorders.
Administration and dosage
Channels SC, IM or IV
– Cattle, calves : 10 to 25 ml per 100 kg body weight daily for 3-4 days 
5 to 12.5 mg / kg of diprophylline and 0.15 to 0.375 mg / kg of terpine per day).
– Dogs, cats : 2 to 5 ml per day depending on the size of the animal 100 to 250 mg of diprophylline and 3 to 7.5 mg of terpine per day).
Precautions for use
Laboratory animal studies showed no teratogenic effects.
Since safety in the pregnant or lactating female has not been studied, use in these cases will depend on the benefit / risk assessment by the veterinarian.

Propriétés
La diprophylline, dérivée de la théophylline, avec ses propriétés spasmolytiques bronchodilatatrices, est un stimulant du SNC, un analeptique respiratoire central et un vasodilatateur coronaire.
La terpine associée aux produits d’oxydation de la térébenthine (excipient), a une action décongestionnante et antiseptique, asséchant la bronchorrhée, fluidifiant.
La diprophylline est complètement éliminée par l’urine sous sa forme parentale. Sa demi-vie d’élimination est très courte (2 à 8 heures selon les espèces).
Indications de la BIO-PULMONE
Chez les bovins, chiens et chats: traitement adjuvant des troubles bronchopulmonaires.
Administration et posologie
Canaux SC, IM ou IV
– Bovins, veaux: 10 à 25 ml par 100 kg de poids corporel par jour pendant 3-4 jours (= 5 à 12,5 mg / kg de diprophylline et 0,15 à 0,375 mg / kg de terpine par jour).
– Chiens, chats: 2 à 5 ml par jour selon la taille de l’animal (= 100 à 250 mg de diprophylline et 3 à 7,5 mg de terpine par jour).
Précautions d’emploi
Les études sur les animaux de laboratoire n’ont montré aucun effet tératogène.
La sécurité chez la femelle gestante ou allaitante n’ayant pas été étudiée, l’utilisation dans ces cas dépendra de l’évaluation bénéfice / risque par le vétérinaire.
