Diuro vet injection COMPOSITION
Hydrochlorothiazide
Dexamethasone sodium phosphate
INDICATIONS
– Cattle and sheep: Congestion and oedema of the udder, persistant lactation in oedema, pulmonary oedema and congestion, oedematous infiltration in surgical wounds, oedema in allergic conditions.
– Horses: Generalised congestion and oedema. Oedema of sheath, anasara, oedema in allergic reactions.
Diuro vet injection METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
Cattle and adult horses:
Preventative treatment: 10 ml daily for 3 days.
Curative treatment:
– Congestion and mild oedema: 10 ml daily for 2 – 3 days
– Congestion and severe oedema: 20 ml daily for 2 days and 10 ml the third day.
Foals and calves: 2 ml for 40 – 50 kg of BW daily for 3 days.
Withdrawal time
For meat and offal: 28 days
For milk: 07 days
Contra-indication:
Do not use in pregnant animals with viral infections, during the viraemic phase.
Do not use in animals with diabetes mellitus, congestive heart failure, chronic nephritis, osteoporosis or glaucoma, hepatic encephalophaty.
Do not use in cases of serves hypokalaemia.
Do not use in animals with hypersensitive to the active ingredients.
Do not use in horses for the treatment of laminitis.
PRESERVATION: Store in a cool place and keep out of direct sunlight
