الاستراديول هو احد مشتقات الاستروجين و
المادة الاساسية هي الاستروجين : و لإستروجينات هي هرمونات أنثوية يفرزها المبـِيض كهرمون الجنس الأولي , وهي المسؤولة أيضاً عن تسهيل عملية الالقاح وعن تحضير الرحم للحمل وتستخدم عند الخمول الجنسي وانخفاض وظيفة المبيض
للتخلص من الاغشية الجنينة (احتباس المشيمة ) و الأجنة الميتة وحالات التهاب بطانة الرحم
بالاضافة الى احتوائة على فيتامين أ وفيتامين هـ الذان يلعبان دور هام في رفع الخصوية
الاستخدام :
عن طريق الحقن تحت الجلد .
الجرعة :
الابقار والجمال والخيول : 4-8 مل تكرر اربع مرات بفارق اربع ايام كل مرة
الأغنام والماعز : 4 مل ، وتكرر بعد 4 أيام.
الكلبات: 1 مل لكل 5 كغ من وزن الجسم، وتكرر بعد 4 أيام.
فترة التحريم : 15 يوم للذبح
الحليب : 0 يوم (بعض المربيين يقوم برش الهرمون على حياء المطية لتهييج البعير وهو استخدام خاطئ والافضل هو الحقن تحت الجلد )
