Description EXCENEL RTU:
Excenel RTU is an antibiotic with a broad spectrum of action, belonging to the group of cephalosporins. It is active against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including beta-lactamase producing strains. Like other cephalosporins, ceftiofur is bactericidal in vitro, interfering with bacterial wall synthesis.

Composition:
Each 100 mL contains 5.0 g of micronized ceftiofur hydrochloride.

Indications:
Cattle: treatment of pneumonia and transport fever associated with Pasteurella haemolytica, P. multocida and Haemophilus sommus, enteritis (Salmonella spp and Escherichia coli), hoof rot (Fusobacterium necrophorum and Bacteroides melaninogenicus) and genitourinary infections.

Dosage and method of administration:
Bovine: 1 mL / 50 kg body weight.
Administer 1 mg ceftiofur / kg body weight subcutaneously or intramuscularly and repeat treatment after the 24 hour interval for three consecutive days.

Shelf life and precautions:
It does not require milk discard or withdrawal of the product prior to slaughter when used at the recommended dosages.

Presentation:
Glass vial containing 10 or 100 mL.

Descripción EXCENEL RTU:
Excenel RTU es un antibiótico de amplio espectro de acción, perteneciente al grupo de las cefalosporinas. Es activo contra bacterias grampositivas y gramnegativas, incluidas las cepas productoras de betalactamasa. Como otras cefalosporinas, ceftiofur es bactericida in vitro, interfiriendo con la síntesis de la pared bacteriana.

Composición:
Cada 100 ml contiene 5,0 g de hidrocloruro de ceftiofur micronizado.

Indicaciones:
Bovinos: tratamiento de la neumonía y la fiebre del transporte asociadas a Pasteurella haemolytica, P. multocida y Haemophilus sommus, enteritis (Salmonella spp y Escherichia coli), pudrición de las pezuñas (Fusobacterium necrophorum y Bacteroides melaninogenicus) e infecciones genitourinarias.

Posología y forma de administración:
Bovinos: 1 mL / 50 kg de peso vivo.
Administrar 1 mg de ceftiofur / kg de peso corporal por vía subcutánea o intramuscular y repetir el tratamiento después del intervalo de 24 horas durante tres días consecutivos.

Periodo de validez y precauciones:
No requiere desechar la leche o retirar el producto antes del sacrificio cuando se usa en las dosis recomendadas.

Presentación:
