FERRONEL 200 USE IN:

Pigs.

DIRECTIONS:

Elemental iron as ferrous hydroxide, combined with dextran, is essential for hemoglobin synthesis and widely recommended for the treatment of anemia. Bear in mind that iron is the key element of hemoglobin, myohemoglobin and the blood enzymes, transferrin and ferritin. It is naturally absorbed in the first part of the intestine (duodenum). This can be modified by several factors. Iron plays an important role in the transport of oxygen through the bloodstream. Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) is involved in nutrition metabolism and growth through the formation of red blood cells (hematopoiesis), as well as the production of epithelial cells and the maintenance of myelin, which is an essential element of the nervous system. Vitamin B12 plays an important role in cell production and nucleoprotein synthesis. Cobalt is a component of cyanocobalamin. It is necessary for the formation of red blood cells. The deficiency of this element leads to reduced appetite (anorexia), delayed growth and rough-looking fur. Phenol has anesthetic properties in injectable formulas, since it reduces the pain at the injection site. During their first days of life, piglets and calves have a high iron deficiency. The sow and cow do not provide the necessary amount of this element in the milk. Iron deficiency is characterized by microcytic and hypochromic anemia. The following signs can be observed in the piglet: delayed growth, rough fur, wrinkled skin and sagging ears and tail. If there is a vitamin E deficiency in the diet of the sow in gestation, piglets, during their first days of life, respond in a different way to iron application (dextran). Signs such as vacillation, depression and adynamia, are usually observed. This hypersensitivity acquired by piglets may lead to death. To avoid it, the sow in gestation must have a diet which includes a vitamin E supplement. The application of our ACEITE DE GÉRMEN DE TRIGO is recommended, since it has enough vitamin E to solve the problem.
