VETALOG

Vetalog Parenteral is indicated for the treatment of inflammation and related disorders in dogs, cats and horses. It is also indicated for use in dogs and cats for the management and treatment of acutearthritis, allergic and dermatologic disorders

As with all corticosteroids, vetalog parentera should be used with care in all stages of pregnancy. The safety of most corticosteroid drugs for use during all stages of pregnancy has not been adequately established. Do not use with viral infections. vetalog parenteral should not be used to alleviate pain or reduce inflammation arising from infectious states unless concomitant antimicrobial therapy is given. Precautions

Corticosteroids have been used in the treatment of laminitis; vetalog   is not recommended for that use. Cases of laminitis have been reported following the administration of VETALOG ; the mechanism of that response has not been fully elucidated. Care is necessary when using any corticosteroid in the equine species.

الاحتياطات

تم استخدام الكورتيكوستيرويدات في علاج التهاب الصفيحة. لا ينصح باستخدام فيتالوج لهذا الاستخدام. تم الإبلاغ عن حالات التهاب الصفيحة بعد إعطاء VETALOG ؛ لم يتم توضيح آلية تلك الاستجابة بشكل كامل. الحذر ضروري عند استخدام أي كورتيكوستيرويد في أنواع الخيول.
